【Location and Lessons】

Currently based in France, I offer lessons in Saint-Denis as well as online,
making them accessible to students worldwide.

During my stays in Japan,
I also provide in-person private lessons and ensemble sessions.

【The Lyre Method】

Integrating the therapeutic instrument

and performance education

Attempts to unite the lyre as

a therapeutic instrument
with the lyre as a form of performance education
have been extremely rare until now.

Over many years,

I have continued to explore the lyre

from both perspectives,
and have established an original method

that integrates therapy and performance,
an approach unprecedented in the history of the lyre.

This method is not about fitting players

into fixed forms or following a predetermined sequence.

It values a process in which each performer,

through sound,
faces and reflects upon themselves,
cultivating inner richness alongside
the acquisition of instrumental technique.

【Two Elements: Therapy and Education】

Teaching involves analyzing musical structure
and the essence of resonance,
and transmitting them with responsibility
to those who listen and learn.

① Human connection
The lyre is a therapeutic instrument,
used even in medical settings,
and has a profound effect on the human psyche.
For this reason, I strive to maintain
a careful and sincere approach,
grounded in an understanding of psychological

and spiritual dimensions.

② Educational guidance
In the field of music education,
solid foundational knowledge—
such as that cultivated in conservatory training—
is indispensable and, in my view,

the minimum requirement.

Teaching and transmitting music,
like the study of piano or violin,
rests on a long-term commitment
to deep musical understanding.
I am convinced that true teaching emerges
from the continuation of such accumulated effort.

【Refining Technique

Means Refining Oneself】

I do not operate within a closed master–disciple system.
Above all, I value human connection
and the relationships formed between individuals.

Rather than focusing solely on technical improvement,
my approach emphasizes expanding musical expression
through the process of technical refinement.

I welcome those who wish to grow together—
not only in skill,
but also in individuality and human depth.

【About the Instruments】

I am not involved in the import

or export of instruments,
nor do I maintain exclusive partnerships
with specific makers or manufacturers.

I hold equal respect for all instrument makers
and value the unique character
that each instrument possesses.

In lessons and ensemble settings,
participants play a wide variety of instruments,
including Gärtner, Jöex, Salèm, Aphrodite, Sansō, Korogi, and others.

As with violins in an orchestra,
it is not differences in price that create richness of sound,
but the meeting of diverse backgrounds—
instruments shaped by different countries, makers,

and traditions.

This diversity enhances depth, overtones,
and the overall beauty of the ensemble sound.

I hope to foster an environment
in which different instrumental voices are respected
and the joy of making music together is shared.
